Hatsune Miku Project Diva F new tracks confirmed

Famitsu this week confirmed eight new tracks for Hatsune Miku Project Diva f, due for PlayStation Vita late August in Japan.

The songs are:

Ys Celceta Sea of Trees: Command Party Members with the Touch Screen

Ys Celceta Sea of Trees resurfaced in Famitsu this week following nine months of silence. The magazine delivered a release date and a full preview for Falcom's first PlayStation Vita Ys game.

As detailed earlier, Celceta Sea of Trees is due for release on September 27, priced ¥7,140 at retail. The magazine does not list a price for the download version.

Sokuho's summary of Famitsu's article says that the game's visuals have improved over our previous look from last September. Falcom CEO Toshihiro Kondo did previously promise visual improvements.

The magazine has just a few gameplay details. Making use of a simple control scheme, you'll be able to perform flashy battle actions. In addition to performing skills with button presses, you can tap the touch screen to direct your party members. You can also perform aerial group combos with your party members. As you fight, you'll learn new skills.

The fields of play have details like time shifts, cycling through morning, afternoon and night. The environments make use of positional sound effects to make you feel like you're in the action.


Development on Celceta Sea of Trees is currently at 80%. Kondo promised the ultimate title in the Ys series, with all elements powered up for the new hardware, and Falcom's full effort going into producing the game as a 25th anniversary title.

Marvelous AQL released a trailer today for its download-exclusive PlayStation Vita mech action game Assault Gunners. Check out the footage below.

Assault gunners features a Mission Mode that offers over 30 missions, and an Inferno Mode where you face off against an endless stream of enemies. The game is produced by Shinji Motoki and directed by Kazuyuki Ogawa.

A demo for Assault Gunners will be released to PlayStation Store today. The game's final version will be released on June 28, priced ¥1,480.

Ys Foliage Ocean in Celceta

We've been referring to the PlayStation Vita Ys game as Ys Celceta Sea of Trees. It seems that we may have to start referring to it as Ys Foliage Ocean in Celceta, as that's the English text in the logo at the game's newly opened official site.
The site has an introduction to the game's prologue, and three characters, main character Adol Christin, Carna and Dulen. There's a "movie" section at the site, but it just links to the Tokyo Game Show 2011 trailer.

The most intriguing bit is in the site's product page. Falcom is planning three versions of Ys Foliage Ocean in Celceta. The standard version, as detailed yesterday, is priced ¥7,140. A download version will also be offered, but its price is currently TBA. Falcom will also be offering an Ys 25th Anniversary Pack. This is priced ¥8,925, but Falcom has not yet detailed the content.

Over 30 Songs and 80 Costumes For Hatsune Miku Project Diva F

A pamphlet distributed to attendees of this weekend's Hatsune Miku Project Diva F retail demo event reveals just how much content Vita owners can look forward to later this summer. The pamphlet promises over 30 songs and 80 modules (costumes).

What's even more impressive is that the songs and modules are all said to be new. In fact, six of the songs are original creations just for the game.

The pamphlet shows such songs as Worlds End Dance Hall, Odds & Ends, Cat Food and Melancholy, and such modules as Blue Crystal, Star Voice, Requiem, Summer Memory and Eternal White.

And, of course, there's the game's advanced AR photo mode. In addition to shots of Miku in your apartment and bedroom, the pamphlet shows Miku and friends performing in a studio. You can freely set the character's size and switch between pre-set poses.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified Details, Price

The power of the IGN community strikes again! This time, news comes from NKilburne, who has informed us that both Walmart and Amazon have posted new information about the upcoming PlayStation Vita exclusive Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified.

First off, its price. Both Amazon and Walmart have Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified listed as costing $49.96, officially making it the most expensive game on the platform (along with Uncharted: Golden Abyss' original price). Unfortunately, its release date is marked as December 31, 2012, no doubt a placeholder.

Treyarch: "We have no idea who is making Black Ops PS Vita"

A Treyach spokesperson reveals that even they don't know who is in charge of development for Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, more details inside.........

Treyarch director of communications John Rafacz has revealed that he does not know who is working on Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified. In an interview when asked who was in charge of development he replied with:

"I don't know,"
"With regards to the Vita, all I can tell you is that it's quite literally declassified.
"When I know, I'll tell you."

His statement also confirms that Treyarch are not working on Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified. Other reports suggest that the Tony Hawk developers NEVERSOFT are working on a PS Vita version of Call of Duty.
