SEGA made a localization announcement for Phantasy Star Online 2 earlier today, but it didn’t mention anything about the PlayStation Vita version of the game. Thus far, only the PC edition is on track for North America and Europe.
For the time being, SEGA is keeping quiet on the possibility of localizing Phantasy Star Online 2 for Vita.
A company representative said:
“We can’t confirm any details about the final platforms for the North American and European versions of PSO2 at this time.”
Phantasy Star Online 2 came out for Japanese PCs just a few days ago. However, it isn’t scheduled for Vita until 2013. Once it becomes available in Japan, perhaps SEGA will have something to say.
“excited by the idea of cloud powered connectivity between PlayStation 3 and Vita.”
“wish[es] Sony would... get behind Borderlands.
“I want to be able to have the character I’m working on with my PS3, and then when I’m on the road with my Vita I can just keep developing that same character because it exists on the cloud somewhere. Technologically, that’s possible.”
"I know there are a lot of talented developers who could take our code, our source and our content and perhaps create something like that". That would be exciting to me.”
Capcom announced today a final October 25 release date for the PlayStation Vita version of Street Fighter x Tekken.
The PSN download bundled with the PS3 add-on character pack (which adds the Vita version's characters to the PS3 version) will cost ¥4,400.
The game's retail version comes bundled with the PS3 character pack by default and costs ¥4,990. The retail version also includes as a first print run bonus an arrange costume pack.
The Vita version of SF x Tekken has various updates over its console counterparts. Owners of the Vita and PS3 versions of the game can make use of a "Contents Link" feature which synchronizes character customization settings and replay data. This feature also gives Vita owners access to DLC purchased on the PS3 version.
Vita also has near functionality to exchange character costume color scheme data. The receiving end will be able to make use of the color data.
Battle System
Celceta uses a new system called "Hirameki." As part of this system, when you face off against strong enemies, your character will automatically learn and use new skills on the spot. These skills are placed in your skill list and can later be set with your character.
In this screen, Adol learns "Sonic Slide."

Personal Actions
Personal actions are character-specific actions that you use on the fields. As you explore, you'll sometimes see a target circle on the map. Switch to the appropriate character and either press triangle or tap the screen, and you'll make that character perform a personal action.
Shown here, Carna's knife toss and Dulen's key open ability. Carna's knife toss can cut string bridges, opening up new paths. Duren's move can open treasure boxes.

Sony have confirmed that GTA: Liberty City Stories will be playable on PS Vita next week, more details inside...........
An interesting tidbit of news was revealed by The Official PlayStation Blogcast, and it has to do with one of the most commercially successful PlayStation Portable games ever released: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
There are plenty of PSP games incompatible with the PlayStation Vita, and Liberty City Stories is one of them. But no more! When the PlayStation Store updates on Tuesday, July 17th, Liberty City Stories will be compatible with your Vita.
While this isn’t an updated version of the game per se, and doesn’t include things like Trophies, you will be able to download the game off of the PS Store directly to your Vita if you’re looking for something to play during what seems to be a perpetual lull in new Vita releases.
