Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time demo dated, contest winners announced, and new video released

Sony and Sanzaru Games have shared new gameplay footage and revealed the treasure design contest winners for Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time.

But first, demo news. A downloadable demo of Thieves in Time will be released on January 22 for PlayStation Plus subscribers and on January 29 to everyone. The demo is brand new, so those who got early access to the first demo from the Ratchet & Clank Collection might still want to check it out.

The video details Sly’s first trip through time and how he’ll go about doing what he needs to do.

Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time is due out on February 5 for $39.99 on PlayStation 3 and $29.99 on PS Vita. Those who purchase the PlayStation 3 version will get a digital version of the PS Vita game free of charge.

Velocity Ultra Announced For PS Vita

FuturLab has announced Velocity Ultra, a native Vita version of its highly praised PS Minis game Velocity, more details inside.....


Featuring a "completely overhauled" visual style, Trophies and online leaderboards, FuturLab MD James Marsden says it can be thought of "as the director's cut; everything we would have done the first time around if we'd had the budget".

While there's no solid release date, the studio's "on track to submit to Sony at the beginning of April, so we are guesstimating a release date in May".

For those hoping for a sequel to the original, Marsden added: "Velocity Ultra is a way for us to establish the Velocity franchise with a wider audience, and we've got plenty more Velocity in the works.

"In fact, we've just published a Velocity Sequel Questionnaire to find out what you want to see in a sequel. If you fill it out, you could win a copy of Velocity Ultra.

"Edge described the original as "a new standard bearer" for PS Minis in its 9/10 Velocity review.

Square Enix Châu Âu đã đăng trên Twitter rằng: "thế giới sẽ sớm có câu trả lời" về phiên bản Final Fantasy X HD. "Chúng tôi hứa chắc chắn"

PlayStation 3 và PS Vita đã được thông báo tin này tại Sony's Tokyo Game Show vào năm 2011. Kể từ ngày hôm đó có rất ít (và hầu như không có bất kì thông tin nào) về dự án này cho đến hôm nay. Đây sẽ là một tin vui cho những ai là Fan của series FF.


Còn về Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Square Enix thông báo "họ vẫn đang trong quá trình phát triển" nên "sẽ không có bất cứ thông tin gì về ngày ra mắt".

Alien Breed sẽ hồi sinh với chế độ trực tuyến nhiều người chơi.​

Theo thông tin của nhà phát triển Team17 vừa xác nhận, phiên bản remake của Alien Breed (ra mắt lần đầu trên hệ máy Amiga vào năm 1991) sẽ được hồi sinh trên PlayStation 3 và PlayStation Vita của Sony thông qua PlayStation Store vào đầu tháng 2 tới.

Phiên bản remake sẽ cho người chơi lựa chọn đồ họa nâng cao hoặc 16 bit (giống phiên bản Amiga ban đầu), đồng thời cải tiến hơn nữa về hình thức trực tuyến nhiều người chơi trong cả hai chế độ.

Trò chơi sẽ hỗ trợ nhiều hệ máy, cho phép người sở hữu Vita và PS3 có thể cùng tác chiến với nhau, đi kèm với khả năng tương thích về file save của nhau để họ có thể chơi chế độ Story từ một hệ thống khác.

Trò chơi đã được phát hành trước đó như một tựa game PS Mobile - có thể chạy được trên Vita - thông qua iOS App Store.

Team17 cũng cho biết phiên bản trên Android sẽ sớm ra mắt.​

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus Box Art

Later next month, Vita owners will be able to pickup Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus, practically one year since NGS+ was released. While this edition appears to be receiving more additional treatment than NGS+, we still have seen any screenshots or footage that showcases the game on the Vita. However, the box art has been revealed:

It’s more or less the same box as the PS3 except the blue arc and feather on the left side of the box are additional. Hopefully we’ll start seeing how the game is shaping up for the Vita soon as we near the game’s release.

Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken Coming to PS Vita

Back in October of last year, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken came to PlayStation 3. We liked it just fine -- we gave it a 7.5 -- but we admittedly haven't thought much about it since. That is, until right now, because Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken is officially coming to PlayStation Vita.

Rocketbirds' YouTube account, presumably run by developer Ratloop Asia, released the trailer yesterday. You can check it out embedded above. The game looks pretty much identical to the PS3-centric PSN release from last year; it's sad that this isn't instead a proper sequel.

Nonetheless, if you missed out on the game the first time around, perhaps its Vita iteration will suit you better. Pricing and release details are yet-unknown, though we will certainly keep you updated when we learn more.
