This could be a big deal, or nothing at all, but hear me out on this.

So I just came back from watching FFH again and I noticed when William is downloading the fake video exposing Peter on his phone, you can see above the download bar that it says “Active drones: 500”. But hold on, Peter just deactivated all the drones via EDITH so why are 500 of them still active after the fact? I don’t think all of the drones were hooked up to EDITH. Even before Beck got a hold of EDITH he still had some drones so what if these original ones were outside of the system, never connected? It would explain why there’s still 500 active drones: they didn’t deactivate like the EDITH-controlled drones did. Quentin’s death could’ve been an illusion on the original drones, which is possible because he planned the identity video way in advance and also explains why EDITH didn’t pick up any illusions, because all of EDITH’s illusions were down, but not the others. They could’ve still been making more illusions. I’m not totally sure, but it seems to hold up. I’m interested to know what other people think of this.
