Mấy bác ơi cho hỏi cái vụ này 1 tí, đang bức xúc với cái con dạy speaking. Vd nếu như ai hỏi mình:
-Did you eat yet?
-Didn't you eat already?
Nếu như có thì cứ yes, I did mà chưa thì No, I didn't đúng ko? Câu trả lời ko phụ thuộc vào câu hỏi là phủ hay khẳng định. Cái con dạy nói nó kêu là trả lời như trong TV luôn, Yes, I didn't hay No, I did cũng ok. Ghét ghê.

Cái câu hỏi nghe... dị dị... Còn thì là yes, i did; no i didn't là đúng đấy :).
 
tiếng việt gì ngu vậy?
"didn't you eat already?" = "ko phải mày ăn rồi à?"
trả lời bằng tiếng việt thì cũng "uh tao ăn rồi" chứ ai kêu "uh tao chưa ăn"...

Ý là mình chọn câu cho đơn giản làm vd ấy mà. Chứ hồi giờ học TA chưa thấy vụ Yes, I didn't mà nó dám dạy như vậy. Con ranh.

:)). H đọc lại thấy câu đó của mình dễ gây hiểu lầm nên clarify lại. Ý mình là hỏi lớp 11 có học à, và ngạc nhiên vì bác ấy nhớ đc 11 học j :)).
 
meanwhile với while, 2 cái này có khác nhau ko các bác X_X nếu khác thì khác ntn , cho xin cái ví dụ luôn nhé :D

meanwhile = Trong khí đó, While = Trong khi
While I was feeling fine, she looked abnormal.
I was feeling fine meanwhile she looked abnormal
While đứng đầu câu và có comma ở giữa 2 vế. Meanwhile đứng giữa câu.
Vai trò ngữ pháp giống nhau. Nhưng nếu như có khác ở chỗ nào sâu xa thì mình k b' =))
 
Theo oxford thì có 3 cách dùng:
1. Trong khi, nhưng đứng riêng được, còn while thì phải có 2 vế.
Vd: Bob spent fifteen months alone on his yacht. Ann, meanwhile, took care of the children on her own.
My dad was reading newspaper while my mother was cooking.
2. Vào giữa 2 khoảng time hay event.
vd: The doctor will see you again next week. Meanwhile, you must rest as much as possible.
3. Dùng để so sánh.
vd: Stress can be extremely damaging to your health. Exercise, meanwhile, can reduce its effects.

Đề thi ĐH thì mình nghĩ là phần đọc hiểu khó hơn ngữ pháp. Bạn siêng làm đọc hiểu vào. Hồi trước mình thi ĐH mình làm 3 cuốn sách tức là hơn 100 bài đọc hiểu á. Còn ngữ pháp thì bạn mua cuốn Mai Lan Hương học đi, ai hỏi mình cũng giới thiệu cuốn đó hết.:soldier_baby21:

Khác xa nhau. Meanwhile có thể được dùng 2 kiểu adv chủ đạo:
- So sánh: Meanwhile I have to do our homework, she hang out with her friends.
- Diễn tả sự việc giữa 2 khoảng thời gian (Oxford): We will check your attendance without notice within one month. Meanwhile, don't think you're too smart to fool us.

While mình thấy cũng 2 cách dùng chính:
- Something happening: While I'm doing our homework, she calls me from Funky Bar, where she is hanging out with her friends.
- Contrary relationship: giống với Whereas ấy. I refer something making sense. While, it seems like those nonsense stuffs make her happy.

You don't really need an answer, just feel under pressure of studying. I doubt that you're gonna read something introduced here.
plus, I only have one valuable lesson (for myself) to duel with exams: Trying my best to avoid mistakes of stupidity such as grammar, writting structure, misusing of vocabulary.
My writting usually has a shitty content, very poor ideas but my teacher rarely marks me down due to other reasons.

He indulged his passion for cinema by kidnapping a South Korean director. The whole country was his movie set, where he could play God and have the people revere him (see our obituary). He was often portrayed as a platform-heeled, bouffanted buffoon—a cartoon villain. Yet he was coolly rational and, in the final reckoning, successful. Not only did he himself die at liberty, but he protected an entire generation of the narrow elite who rose with him. And above all, Kim, the family man, ensured that he passed his movie set to a chosen heir, his pudgy third son, Kim Jong Un.
That is the second reason why there cannot be unalloyed joy at Kim Jong Il’s going. The younger Kim represents the third generation of a dynastic Stalinist dictatorship that has ruled North Korea since 1948. Vicious factional fighting or family squabbles may rage behind the scenes, but the staging of his father’s funeral on December 28th was designed to show that, in public, the regime has fallen into line behind the son, with his uncle and aunt as regents. Continuity is the imperative. Since more of the same means more misery at home and more nuclear blackmail abroad, that is no reason to be cheerful.
