Now, SKT is just one step away from claiming it's 3rd throne in the World Championships.
After the match ended, Choi said, "It was a very difficult and exhausting game. I'm still feeling dizzy. All of the players, the coaches, and the administration staff worked really hard to achieve this feat."
"Bengi was a little bit passive on Game 1, so we replaced him with Blank, who has more aggressive style. However, Miss Fortune support destroyed us and our minds were dismantled. We had to bring Bengi back at that point." Choi commented on Bengi's successful substitution.
He also added, "As you have seen, the team that won in the bot lane won the entire game. Other lanes were similar, or we were slightly better in those. Today, bot lane was the most important factor."
At the Finals, SKT will meet with the winner of H2K-SSG semifinals. Choi confessed his woes and stresses. "We don't know who will advance to the Finals. We had so many mental hardships when preparing for the semis. The press, the commentators, even Riot Games themselves predicted that ROX will win this. I'm not even talking about objective stats and analysis; it felt like the whole universe wanted SKT to lose. Since it felt like everyone except us and our fans wanted our defeat, we practiced really, really, really hard for the semis. The 'other group' (of the semifinals) didn't even want to have scrim with us. I don't know; it might have been some kind of a master plan, or they might just didn't want to help us. Fortunately and thankfully, we managed to have a few scrims with H2K. After all, teams can freely choose whether to scrim with another team or not.
