The game style here is Placing officers on city facilities. Each facilities have different functions and would be best occupied by officers that have corresponding stats. When the placings are finished, press the Execute button to advance the turn and see the city growth in-between.
Next, the battle scene is shown. It is allowed to take images on this part, and as announced it is a real-time battle. Tap on a unit and the target position to order the unit to move. On his tablet PC, Mr. Kitami (the producer) also shows how to scroll the screen with his fingers.
Regarding this interface, he's "aiming for a sense of control like in a smartphone", so that's why this will be also compatible with touchscreens.
Recently many games have boasted the 'online network availability', but barely any games were created to be compatible with a 1024x600 resolution, let alone work on computers with Atom (processor). And especially since tablet PCs generally have low specs, they're working to make this game run well on there as well.
Finally it's regarding the release timeframe. At this point it's announced to be sometime in 2012, however Mr. Kitami said "It's not going to be at the end of the year", so it could be sooner than predicted.
