Monster Battle Road to Victory có vẻ như là một bản ‘port’ của một game arcade đơn giản giống Dragon Quest Swords. Game sẽ mang các yếu tố mới như đọc thẻ của máy DSi, cho phép bạn scan các thẻ quái vật để mang vào game Wii.

Dựa trên những thông tin đầu tiên, game có vẻ như sẽ tương tự các game Pokemon Stadium nhưng sử dụng các nhân vật của Dragon Quest, chúng sẽ chiến đấu với nhau trong một đấu trường. Game cũng sẽ hỗ trợ chơi online cho máy Wii.

Fetures:
- Game hỗ trợ 4 người chơi cùng lúc.
- Mục chơi chính đơn giản là bạn làm sao đó để trở thành nhà vô địch của thành phố Ryujincho.
- Game cho phép tự tạo avatar, chọn giới tính, kiểu mặt, tóc và màu sắc nhân vật.
- Tùy ý khám phá Ryujincho.
- Có những mini game dùng Wiimote như một thanh kiếm.
- Game bao gồm hàng loạt các nhân vật và quái vật từ các bản DQ (từ bản 1 đến 9). Vào đầu game sẽ cho bạn các lá bài khởi đầu, bạn có thể đưa thêm quái từ các lá bài bên ngoài vào. Các lá bài này không chỉ có quái mà còn có các đòn tấn công đặc biệt...
- Các trận đấu diễn ra ở đấu trường, có 3 đấu 3, 3 đấu 1, 6 đấu 1.
- Có thể dùng chương trình trên DSi hoặc điện thoại di động (sẽ được phát hành cùng lúc) để nhận diện các lá bài từ phiên bản game thùng để lấy thông tin vào game.
