Not sure to buy? My personal review/thoughts.
Alright, I want to start off by saying a few things. I do not consider myself a die-hard Final Fantasy fan, however, most of my childhood was spent playing Final Fantasy (squaresoft) games. (Off the top of my head, I spent several hundreds of hours in Legend of Mana, Final Fantasy Tactics, and 7-9 back when they were 'new' and 'relative' in the 90's. I'm 28 now.)

Among the games, I remember spending the most time in Tactics, while the runner up of my time eater was FF9.

I do want to note that I'm one who tends to not like ports much because sometimes (not all the time) they do not stay true to certain aspects of the original game.

Also, do note that (whether this technically is or not) I do not feel this is a "port" of FF9, as the game was only released on the PlayStation all those years ago, thus this had to (assumedly) be reconstructed from practically scratch to be playable on the PC and Mobile.

I've seen how (up for debate) bad a lot of Square ports have been in the past, and I tried to keep my hopes for this gem of a game moderately low.

After installing and playing, the first issue I noticed was an issue where Zidane was permanently moving to the right, even when I was not pressing anything. Thanks to the discussion forums here, there's a thread that states how to quickly resolve that issue. (Literally takes under a minute in most cases.) I now am using my Xbox 360 wired controller to play the game, and it feels just like it did on the PlayStation to me.

Now, after resolving that issue, I got into the first battle. The UI is a port of the mobile UI, and while I absolutely, positively HATE the mobile UI, the game still feels and plays like FF9 to me. It brought back the same feeling I had, all those years ago.

I started to steal from the first boss, and quickly remembered how much of a hassle and time consuming it can be trying to get every single item from a battle. So, I tested the speed toggle. Needless to say, it's a very welcomed addition to me, as it made things go by much faster, and less annoying. (It would have likely took a good 4 minutes to steal the last item as appose to the 30 seconds from increasing the speed.)

After arriving at the first town and actually being able to control my character freely, I got curious and decided to test the speed toggle to see if it would affect the in-game time. And low and behold, speeding up the game's speed does NOT affect the in-game timer.

What does this mean? Well, for both die-hards and casuals, it means it wont be quite so difficult to get every weapon in the game anymore.

Side note, the sound effects feel a little loud compared to the music, but that's literally a minor thing. (Pretty sure the sound volume is able to be tampered with in the options.)

Tetra Master was just as difficult as I remembered. It can be quite frusterating, but again, that's staying true to the original.



My final notes on the game,
while I don't care for the mobile UI (seriously, I hate it) I am able to look past it and enjoy the game for what it is at the core; The 9th Final Fantasy in the series. A game that has great mechanics, great music, a great story, and a HELL of a lot of secrets..

If you enjoyed FF9 way back when, I say get it, without hesitation. Worst case scenario? You dislike something minor enough that you decide to ask Steam for a refund. (You get your money back, no loss there.) Best case scenario? You relive the adventure once again, with a fresh look.

Em tìm mãi không thấy cái bài hướng dẫn hoàn chỉnh fantasy ix , cùng bản đồđào hòm các kiểu ở đâu , tài khoản em bị đổi email đợi bao lâu mới được xác nhận giờ vào bố cục thay đổi quá :)). Bác nào biết chỉ em với đang down giả lập ps1 về chơi à.
 
HY vọng nó tăng độ khó cho game chơi mí đã :), mode insane của bên nước ngoài chơi rồi :3, mấy con rồng của random battle thôi cũng đủ để team đột tử :3
 
Không biết có link download bản PC (cracked) không nhỉ :D?

Bạn cài lại driver cho sound và cài lại cả directX nữa nhé. Nhiều người bị thử cách này lại được.
