In Singapore what network and what is your network plan when you play with green man Adon

we are using the fiber network to connect to Green man Adon and its not getting a good connection at all. What about Kamikazee Ryu? Perhaps we can get a better connection?

We will try to test again next week with Greenmanadon, but if we are unable to get a steady connection we might need to push the event back because I need to make a trip to US in late mar and early apr.

And then test again when Kamikazee and I are is back in VN to test?

Im using Starhub but i dun know which network plan is it.
Here is my speedtest result:

Currently, the internet in Vietnam facing a major technical problem (Some fishers may have stolen the cable ) Therefore, our internet is unstable to some other ISP and i think Singtel is one of them because last time when we tested it and the result seems to be cool not like this. Hopefully this matter can be solved before our tournament because Kamikazee Ryu also using the same Internet Connection as Adon so i think the result will be the same. We will try to settle this first then decide the exact date and time for the tournament.

I think its Greenman's connection because i have starhub and its equally as bad. Its the ultimate plan.

But with Kamikazee the connection is better.

I have to make my plans to America soon or the ticket prices will increase. I think its best to postpone the versus till I get back to Singapore around 16-18th Apri. Please let me know if this is possible, In the mean time we can still go on with designing the posters and also the trailer for the event.

Hi all

This Eugene, Co-founder of sgfighter / internationalversus.
If you all don't mind someone who cannot play Super Street Fighter 4, I can run some tests with you guys, to see what is the problem. I'm on the Singnet 10mbps plan in Singapore.
I sometimes live in the hai ba trung area and i think it may be the infrastructure (eg: cable layout...etc). My internet connection is not stable there! :P

GreenManAdon, when you played with us, were you doing any heavy bandwidth consuming actions? (eg: torrent / watch video...etc )

I ran some tests on the VNPT connection from Singapore durỉng the testing this afternoon and it seems to be a very good connection.

For those with a good connection, during the test, try to:
a. Assign priority to gaming packet in router
b. Use as little internet as possible when testing / playing ssf4

To me, i don't mind to postpone the versus but i don't know if the rest of us are ok with it or what's about all of u guys. About the connection, i can make sure that after few more weeks, it will be better because the ISP currently fixing this matter but i don't know exactly when it will be done.

I already talked with him about that and he said that he didn't do anything during the test, just on the SSFIV alone. Maybe he didn't open port fort forward for Xbox yet or put it on DMZ but i think our problem here is the ISP because when i play with him, its pretty smooth and i can even do 1 frame combo on him and anti air without delay. I think we need to do more test on this to find out what the real problem is. Eugene, can u add GreenManAdon and test with him when u free ?

The internet route from Singapore ( Singtel ) to VNPT.com.vn í a very straight one. When the problem is solved, the connection should be excellent!

I agree that conclusive results cannot be obtained just from a single test and we we will need to do more, before we organise a friendly. :)

I think Eugene will be testing with you guys on the connection.
As for the 2nd Apr versus, The main concern is that we want to make sure the connection is playable first.
Let’s confirm that we have a stable line and then we move forward on the versus date.

Also, it would be good ì we have players from different Internet Service Providers with good internet connections doing the tests.
Eg: Viettel / VDC / FPT...etc

Ya let's decide the versus date after we get a stable line first. Please let me know when u are free so i will ask my friends online to test the connection. Furthermore, i heard from my friends that the connection will be fixed after 2 more weeks. That's mean in the end of March, we can have proper tests and will announce the exact day and time for this friendly tournament. Yesterday Carnage asked me for a 10 vs 10 íntead of 8 vs 8, i already discussed with my team and we all agree with that. Therefore, i will provide the list of our players again. When we all ready to provide the characters list i will contact u guys ^^

I won't be in VN when you come back. Any chances for us to do it before May?? And we can have another go around August this year or so.
