Ragnarok Odyssey Ace Japanese release date set

Killzone Mercenary New Screenshots

Sony has released some new screenshots of Killzone Mercenary and they do look amazing.

The release date was pushed forward by a few weeks and will be released on September 4 in the UK, and on September 10 in the US. The original date was on September 17 which was also when GTA 5 comes out so the reason for pushing it forward is straightforward.

The game is made by Guerrilla Cambridge and shows what Vita is capable of. Based on these screenshots it does seem like the studio has maxed out Vita’s potential.

Gunman Clive dev interested in Vita development “at some point”

The creator of Gunman Clive has some interest in the PlayStation Vita.

Bertil Hörberg has only released his games on mobile platforms and the 3DS eShop at present. Though “at some point”, Hörberg “would love to develop for Vita”.

He told Siliconera:

“I would love to develop for Vita at some point, but right now I’m not planning any more ports, and I still haven’t decided if I will bring my next game to any other platforms. The Playstation Mobile framework isn’t really for me, though. Since it’s C#-based it would require me to rewrite my entire code base, so if I were to develop for Vita I would go the traditional way and get a devkit.”
