If you have the BC beta client installed or are willing to go through a bit of work, you should not need to install from the CDs tonight.
Some of this is already covered in Noggyh's How to use BC-Beta client with TBC retail thread, but much of it is burried in there. I pulled it out here in a hopefully easy to read format.
Only read (1) if you do not have the BC beta client already installed. Skip down to (2) if you already have the beta client.
(1) If you do NOT have the BC beta installed and want to try this instead of installing BC CDs, this process is a bit complicated but it should work.
(1.1) The beta client hosted in the below torrent is designed to "split" off the 1.12 version of WoW. Since there is no method to "downgrade" retail back to 1.12, you will need to make a new install of World of Warcraft to a seconadry folder on your computer.
NOTE: I did not test this as I already had the beta installed. If the below steps do not work, you may need to rename (or perhaps even delete) your existing World of Warcraft folder and install a fresh copy to patch to 1.12. (If you choose to delete, remember to backup your WTF and Interface folders!!!!!)
(1.2) After an install is complete in a secondary folder, download the 1.00 to 1.12 patch at the below URL and put it in the secondary install's folder. Run this patch after it's downloaded.
http://files.filefront.com/5441790
(1.3) Download the beta client. Below is a link to a torrent to download the beta client (it's big, about 2GB).
http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3538633/
(1.4) Extract the beta installer to the secondary install's folder and run it. After it's completed, you should be able to open its WoW.exe without error. If it runs, continue below to get it updated to retail BC.
(2) If you DO HAVE the BC beta installed and updated with any patch, continue patching it up to patch 2.0.4.
(2.1) I have all the patches required to go from 2.0.0.5991 to 2.0.4 here (~500MB):
http://www.mininova.org/det/547234
(To save time, you can use your torrent program to only download the specific patches that you need. Also, please seed this as it's a torrent I put together specifically for this post and as of now I'm the only seed.)
Once downloaded, put the patches in the beta client's folder (likely C:\Program Files\Burning Crusade Closed Beta\). You should be able to then run each patch file without error.
(2.2) Once the beta client is patched sucessfully up to 2.0.4, download this 2.0.5 patch:
http://kade.nu/wor/WoW-2.0.4.6314-to-2.0.5.6320-enUS-patch.exe
(2.3) If you try to apply this patch, it will give you an "error" about an incorrect tos.html filesize. To get past the error, replace C:\Program Files\Burning Crusade Closed Beta\Data\enUS\tos.html with tos.html in this archive:
http://kade.nu/wor/tos.zip
(2.4) Delete this file: C:\Program Files\Burning Crusade Closed Beta\Data\enUS\backup-enUS.MPQ
(2.5) Run the 2.0.4-to-2.0.5 patch.exe. Should run now without error.
(2.6) After you're updated to 2.0.5 successfully, modify your realmlist.wtf to remove the "beta." part of the URL. This allows the beta client to it connects to the retail servers.
If all of the above was successful, you now can connect to retail with the BC beta client. Smile
Cheers!
Ai có sẵn BC beta client thì thử xem... tui chỉ copy lại thôi... ko sure là được
