Drain arms **** your HP/MP gradually.
Element arms use fire/poison or ice/lit attacks. They are weak to the opposite elements (think MAGES).
Heal arm heals all of the arms at ~50k per arm, so this arm gets taken out first.
Curse arm puts a variety of fun curses on you (weaken, steal, darkness, EXP curse).
The physical arms pound the ground so you take physical/earthquake damage.
An easy way to remember which arm is which is to look at the symbols on his arms. The drain arms and physical arms have matching symbols.
C. The Bodies
The three bodies have 66,000,000, 88,000,000 and 110,000,000 HP respectively. The weapon defense is higher for each body, so on a run with limited funds the bombing may be conserved for the last 2 bodies. The bodies also summon in batches of about 6 - Puco, Pachu, Punco, Cuzco, and Opachu (The blue ones start spawning about 2/3 way through second body). Some of these just get in the way, others use magic attacks that don't hurt much but knock you around and get very annoying. He also summons boogies during the first body only. They will stun you and your priests if they are aggro'ed but not killed quickly, and their stun lasts longer than the stuns from zakum's pillar attack. Hermits must remember not to avenger the boogies! XP
D. The attacks
Zakum has lots of fun fun attacks just for you, fortunately dispel is not one of them.
- 1/1 knocks HP and MP to one each. Meso Guard is a lifesaver here, it leaves HP at 50%. However, 1/1 can work again and knock you down to 25% HP so it's important to have a good priest, and to be aware if you have to go and pot yourself (e.g. priest is stunned/dead/etc).
- Curse attack sets curses like seal, etc. on you. This is why priests with max dispel are important.
- Pillars will fall where the small red Zakum markers appear on the floor. If you get hit they will stun you. For the most part this won't matter too much on the body unless your priest gets stunned and can't heal you. Off of the body it's pretty easy to walk away and avoid this attack.
- Summons: Zakum summons at about 6 at a time, sometimes a mob party of mages/bowmen stay on the right of the body to handle this. If there is no mob control used, the mobs will render attackers useless by swarming in the way. Ew.
- SUPER DEF skills make either weapon or magic attacks do 1 damage per hit. This will be discussed again later.
