Can we set up the forts and cities action range?
YES
Will there be a way to convert maps from heroes automatically in Heroes VI maps?
No, it is not the same motor, not the same programming. With the modifications that have been made (control zones, etc), you cannot have direct conversion anymore.
Can we put bosses on the maps?
YES, you can use bosses as creatures: to keep treasures for example.
The Shadow of Death: What type will it be? As the Warcraft III editor, divided into modules (map editor, trigger editor, sound editor, imported information editor …) as Heroes IV editor?
This is a system of trigger, such as in Warcraft III. You can make the map without writing one line of code.
MODS
Will it be easy to create mods for Heroes VI?
It is the purpose indeed ^^
Is Mods integration planned, simplified compared to Heroes V (for example, the file organization, able to retouch/import 3D models?)
We want the game to have a lighter interface to activate/deactivate mods. Heroes VI is much tidier concerning file organization.

Sheogh, the Chaos himself, has 1000 different forms; we discover them little by little. A creature can be in Heroes V but not in Heroes VI and vice-versa. This creature still exists in the Ashan world and sometimes, its form expresses itself differently to the world surface, depending on the period.
Will there be achievements?

ADVENTURE MAP
How are heroes movement determined compared to creatures from his army?
Heroes’ movement determines creature’s movement. In other words, creature’s type has no influence on the heroes’ movement.
You say you want to keep the fundamental principals of Heroes game but one of the first changes is the resources which makes purists cry. :p Why such a change? What differences this new system brings to the game according to you?
Resources are not what we call a game pillar. It is feature. One must make the difference on one side, the game soul, its fundamental elements: turn-based, RPG component, realm and cities management, on the other side, features, such as the resources number. We’ll bring you more detail on this subject. (see other Q&A about ressources).
In one interview, there were talks about spying and surveillance of the other player to adapt our strategy to its development. It would imply that there is a real “War mist »? If there is one, are we going to be able to unveil and/or put it back to opponents otherwise than with moving heroes on the map? (Spying, magus hut)
« War mist » is static. Once it is unveiled, it disappears. Abilities, artifacts or buildings will help unveil it.
Did you find a good idea to justify crystallized Dragon blood mines?
YES, during the Elder Was, Dragon gods have poured their blood on Ashan world, crystallized in power nexus, called Dragon veins. Ashan inhabitants have learned to extract the crystal, therefore creating mines.
Creatures buildings (dwellings) will be specific to each creature or will there be a building per category (core, elite, champion)?
There will be a building per category.
THE HERO
How will we be able to personalized our hero: name, sex, M&M orientation...
Indeed, we’ll be able to personalize his name, sex, orientation, M&M and his advanced class, which depends on his abilities choices.
How will Might Heroes strength be calculated? Their damages, according to me, are not well balanced in Heroes 5 (a guy can hit 1-2 level 7 maximum and do not hit more than 10 units level 1, whereas spells can annihilate them).
We plan to balance more deeply Might and Magic Heroes.
Did you get info on Magic?
There are seven magic schools: air, water, fire, earth, light, darkness and also a school for primordial magic (Asha/Urgash).
Competence system will be similar to what is done in King's Bounty (such as a combat tree, a magic tree and a third tree for the rest) or are we more going to see a tree per competence?
There will be a tree per ability category, a bit like in KB, but many more trees. More info to come later. :p
As we have a total control on a hero development, how are you going to avoid that all heroes are like every other one? Are you going to create intermediary competences to avoid a ideal « template »?
Each hero has a class with a unique ability and all factions don’t have the same access to magic and to competences. Moreover, there is a racial competence per faction.
COMBATS
If combat arenas are bigger than in Heroes 5, will it be possible to align more then 7 stacks of creatures on a battle ground?
NO
How will moral and chance will work?
Moral will bring an extra action or no action. Chance will bring a maximized or minimized damage.
It is said that we can place our archers in the main tower during a siege. What happens when it is destroyed?
When the tower is destroyed, the stack is killed.
Arena format will not always be the same and will be able to evolve (tide …) but will there be meteorological conditions modifying movement speed, spells, shoots (rain, snow storm, mist, …) ?
Occasionally yes, but not systematically.
How terrain changes will influence battles? For example, water level rising will slow down creatures or even block the way?
Flooded squares will block the way. Other arenas will have other effects.
CREATURES
Which will be the maximum size of the biggest creatures in a faction? Still 2x2 like in Heroes 5, or some creatures like champions will be 3x3 for example?
Faction creatures are maximum 2x2. Bosses can be bigger, 4x4 for example.
As in Heroes 5, will core units will have a certain utility after building the upgrade building, such as archers for example losing their zone damages when upgrading to crossbowman?
Upgrade is not an alternative. It is really an upgrade of the first creature. It does not lose any ability.
Which proportion of neutral creatures will there be, compared to the whole lot of creatures belonging to a faction?
Without giving the exact proportion, there will be neutral creatures. You can already discover one the Gamescom T-shirts. J
In the screens, you can see 5 Necro creatures occupying only one square Does it mean there’ll only be 2 big creatures per faction?
It depends on the faction, between 2 and 3.
CAMPAIGN
Can we know more about Sveltana? Is she chosen by Asha such as Arantir? Is she from the Dragon-knights or even the blind Brothers Order?
“I am Sveltana, Slava's aunt. I left our home to dedicate my life to the worship of Asha, the Death Goddess. Once celebrated as the “flower of the north”, I am now justly feared and called Outcast, Heretic, Necromancer…”
Daughter of the Griffin duke, whose father had been hoping for a son, Sveltana initially, bore the weight of being an only child – and the wrong one.
At the age of fifteen her brother Pavel was born, and she was quickly ignored as he was named heir.
Perfectly content with the turn of events, she left to study the nature of Spirit World first with the Angels and then with the Wizards of the Seven Cities.
Once there, she excelled in her research and soon came under the tutelage of the Necromancer Aguirre.
Already distant from her family, Sveltana decided to join the fledgling cult of the Spider Goddess, and she became Aguirre's assistant and right hand.
She traveled with her master to the Naga islands of the Jade Sea in order to free the Mother Namtaru, a powerful aspect of the Spider Goddess.
Aguirre was killed on the expedition and Sveltana brought the entity back to the Seven Cities alone, thus becoming a living legend among her fellow Necromancers.
She did not have much time to enjoy her new status, however, as soon after her triumphant return she had to run back home to help Pavel repel a demon outburst.
Sadly, she was too late to save her brother. Instead Sveltana became regent of the Griffin Duchy, until the coming of age of her nephew Slava, Pavel’s only son.

The after Dark Messiah is when Heroes Kingdoms take place. Writers wanted to explore the past and develop the origins or Heroes V.
