The main character Tohno Shiki, was involved in a major accident in his childhood. He was so severely injured that people thought he was dead, but he miraculously survived. However, due to that incident, Shiki is sent away from the Tohno household and is entrusted into the care of a distant relative`s family. 

There was a secret to Shiki. Ever since the accident -- lines at which things break easily could be seen. If a blade could be passed through the lines, anything could easily be severed. 

Troubled with this ability, young Shiki is given a pair of glasses by a lady he meets (Shiki calls her "Teacher"), which stops the "lines of death" from being seen. Thanks to that, Shiki was able to live normally up until now. And he was planning to live normally from now on. 

But then, a letter arrives for Shiki. The head of the Tohno Household - his father`s household - has died. By orders of the new head of the household, he must return at once to the Tohno house. 

This story begins when Shiki, now a High School Student, returns to the Tohno Household.

The story begins with a doll maker named Tsukiko, who constantly feels pressure at her work place from her boss, her fellow co-workers, 
everyone. Then one night, Tsukiko is attacked by an evil-grinning kid with gold Rollerblades and a baseball bat. Tsukiko wakes up in a hospital and it 
seems the attack has changed her. But did it change her for better or for worse? As two Japanese detectives are brought in on the case, they 
discover a rash of other assaults from various other people who range from a snobbish elementary school kid, a nosy tabloid reporter, a crooked cop, a 
teacher with a double identity disorder and so on. Besides almost suffering from nervous breakdowns and strings of paranoia, they all have one other 
thing in common: their assailant is the same person who attacked Tsukiko, Lil' Slugger, the kid with golden Rollerblades and a golden bat. At first, the two 
detectives can't find any connection to the attacks, but as they dwell a little deeper, one of the cops starts to see a pattern of behavior between the 
victims and their assailant. As more and more clues start piling up, the cops begin to realize that the suspect could be anyone and it can be no one. The 
suspect is right in front of them or he could be somewhere down the street.

At first, I thought this show would be a waste of time, but I was wrong. It had me on the edge of my seat as I wondered who Lil' Slugger was and why 
he has a tendency to clonk people on the heads who are mentally and emotionally depressed. It seems that no matter how hard I tried to figure it 
out, I just couldn't get a possible answer behind the mystery of the show. Kind of like a detective trying to solve a murder. Paranoia Agent is more like a 
Japanese version of the Twilight Zone, where nothing is what it seems. This show is not to be missed and it will definitely have you on the edge of your 
seat, from start to finish. But remember, before you pop this movie into your DVD player, check your sanity at the door. The person that you would least 
likely expect to be the culprit is possibly the one you should be watching out for.

Edo Era, the world of the Tokugawa Shogunate. There were those who crept in the darkness. The Hiruko Ninja. They are fated to live in darkness, and die in darkness. However, if the power of the Dragon`s Jewel, which has been handed down among the Hiruko since ancient times, is combined with that of the Priestess of Light, even the Hiruko can be bathed in light. There was one who, believing this, ran away from the Hiruko. And thus begins our story. 

At the same time, a group of ninja called the Kimon Shu began targeting the stolen jewel as well as the Priestess of Light, who was living in a hidden village. The Kimon were working behind the scenes to bring about a revival of the Toyotomi. What is their intent? As the mystery deepens, the grand battle between the Hiruko and the Kimon over the treasure begins. 

In that battle, there was a man who came in from rather unusual circumstances. His name: Kibagami Jubei. Having the ability to defeat enemies by using the art of Shippuu no Iai to create kamaitachi, he is a highly skilled "Ninja for Hire." Claiming he was just angry that they were disturbing his sleep, Jubei refuses to get involved in the fighting any further, but as fate would have it, he and the jewel and the Priestess of Light are brought together. Perhaps by coincidence or perhaps he was called by something, but in the hidden village he entered was the Priestess of Light, Shigure. The hidden village is destroyed in an attack by the Kimon Shu. Along with the aged ninja Dakuan and the boy ninja Tsubute who helped Shigure when she was being pursued, Jubei is pulled into the journey to protect Shigure. Having been told by Dakuan that she seems to have some connection with the Yagyuu Clan, Shigure sets off for the Yagyuu village, wanting to know the secrets of her own birth. The path is littered with the persistently pursuing Hiruko Ninja and Kimon Shu. One after the other, Jubei`s Shippuu no Tachi cuts down the unearthly youjutsu that come after them. 

Calling this violent battle to the death, what is the true power of the jewel and the Priestess of Light..!?

Touma arrives in Tokyo to take a college entrance exam, but is distracted in his hotel room by a young and very cute girl. She seems to know him, but he doesn`t know her. At least he doesn`t remember her. The 
pubescent vixen is Urara, his cousin. It seems she has a crush on Touma, but is angry when she sees some model, Mieko, all over him. Unfortunately, 
Touma failed his exam, but lies to Mieko about passing it. So now she attends college thinking that Touma also goes there. Thus Urara`s mission to 
break them up begins. 

Watching this series for the first time I am still sitting here in front of my PC not believing it is over. The story was so real and the daily life problems of the people so, so, well so much like mine I feel like I have looked into a mirror. The strange thing for me was that I thought I would have related more to Touma, the male lead, but in fact I related to Urara the most. With out telling to much of the plot it is hard to say much but that her confusion and pain dealing with life is done so very real it will truly hurt your heart to watch her.

This series does a great job of giving the viewer a look into the inner drives and thoughts of each player in the story that even when they are behaving badly, which they often do, you can't help but feel for them and wish them the best. If you are looking for an anime that will truly touch your heart and one you will make you look at your one life and what drives you. Sakura Diaries is your anime.

The only thing I did not like about the series is that it had to end. :D 5 out of 5 stars

After graduated from a magic academy, 10-year-old genius boy Negi Springfield was assigned to a huge Japanese school as an English teacher for 
practical training. To his surprise, the 8th grade class assigned for him is all-girl. In addition to teaching (and being teased by) those 31 pretty girls 
while trying to keep his magic capability in secret, he`s also looking for clues about his father, who was once known as the greatest Magus but 
mysteriously disappeared years ago..

I describe Negi to my friends as a 10-year-old Welsh mage who's assigned to teach English to middle school students in an all-girls boarding school. This is 
one of the shows that the audience needs to be patient with, though. It seems like it's all fluff if you watch the beginning episodes (not that it's a bad 
thing, because the early episodes are funny, and Negi is just so incredibly glompable), but it does eventually develop a serious plot. I'm glad, though - 
twenty-six episodes is a long time to go just on fluff... Also, one of the things I'm really impressed with is that the writer managed to address every 
girl in the class. It's often difficult to balance such a large number of characters. Aside from that, the series has fun opening and ending themes. I 
highly recommend it!

Takemoto Takeru, an ordinary high schooler, encounters during a bike delivery for his part time job a strange light.
When he stops and searches the surrounding, he observes in the forest a cute girl named Hikari climbing out of a sparkling cocoon.
Takeru instantly falls for her at first sight, but suddenly a monster appears at the same spot and attacks the girl.

This describes the exciting days of the mysterious girl Hikari and Akari, Takeru`s childhood friend Nishino Mari and his classmates, who all come onto the scene.
Actually these are just ordinary days, but in Hikari`s point of view, they are wonderful.

The diclonius, otherwise known as a two-horned human, are mutants of the human species, may well be the next step in human evolution. The diclonius 
have horns and strong telekinetic powers represented by "arms". However with this great power, they can easily destroy the human race. Fearful of 
their power, humans quarantined the diclonius into secret research facilities to study. However, in a freak accident, a enraged female diclonius escaped, 
killing many guards in the process. Interesting enough, the female escapee appears to have suffered amnesia after her escape and floated to Yuigahama 
of Kamakura city. There, she meets two people named Kouta and Yuka, who name the female diclonius "Nyuu", and decide that they all should live 
together.

Elfen Lied is presented as a series of 13+1 24 minutes episodes. Although the plot is not new (mutants that have enough power to exterminate the whole human race) the characters and the story flow are fresh and most of all very surprising. The main character is a diclonius (two-horned human) named Luci / Nyu and she have a special ability called vectors (invisible extra strong energy hands). The main plot follows the usual formula boy takes innocent girl in, falls in love with her, but there are also any complex character dilemmas. Perhaps not everyone will enjoy this anime because of the gore, blood and nudity content. But I guess it all works toward the strange horror-comedy experience. Who would've ever guessed that an innocent looking, pink-haired girl would be capable of causing such a major blood bath? You see heads being ripped off, bodies torn in half, and blood dripping everywhere. Once again if you are not comfortable with this kind of scenes, then is likely that Elfen Lied is not for you. If you liked anime like: Akira, Blood: The Last Vampire and Evangelion, you might have some fun with Elfen Lied. Perhaps, the animation is nothing out of the ordinary and if compared with the manga version it is a little bit short and the extra episode 14 does not help toward the end (is more like a retrospective episode in between 7th and 8th episode). Rate: 8.5 out of 10

Keiichi Morisato is looking forward to university life. But in reality, he has no luck in anything, and he has trouble with clubs, love, etc. The truth is that 
he has an unlucky star above his head. One day, Keiichi is stuck watching the dorm while his senpai are away, and has a mountain of chores to do to 
boot. But Keiichi is a good-natured person, and is set about doing his duties. As he is about to finish his final chore, he makes a phone call to his senpai. 
But the words that came through the receiver are, `Goddess Help Line.` Shortly afterwards, a beautiful goddess named Belldandy appears in front of 
him from the mirror of his room.

Even in the wake of the revival of animation in the mid ninties (Simpsons, Captain Planet, Rugrats, Doug, etc.) to late ninties (Cow and Chicken, South 
Park, etc.), the most original cartoons were not made in the United States. I found out in 1997 that they were made in Japan, and this is the series that 
convinced me of that fact. Aa! Megamisama(or Ah! My Goddess! or Oh! My Goddess!)is the best animated story I have seen in this decade. Never have I 
seen a story so fluid, and so effortlessly told. Unlike Disney, you cannot see any formula.

It is an original self-standing adventure that will draw you into a world that United States cartoon watchers are not familiar with seeing in a cartoon. 
Belldandy, Keichi, and the other characters electrify the screen with personality. These characters do not live as the cliched images we are so 
use to seeing in the USA. They are introduced and rounded out as new animated personas undigested by American pop culture--they show off their 
sexual urges for starters; when was the last time you saw that on an American cartoon? As for the story, I will only tell you this: its a story of a how a goddess forever changes the life of a lonely down on his luck college student after he calls to order take-out. Please check this one out. You will not regret it. :)

Well the story is about an angel who go down to the earth, and there is a man whom see her taking a bath. Then the man take something from her, he will return it if the angel agree to marry with him. The story is always heard when we were children, but this is not that simple. Because the angel hates her husband whom she gave her power and kill their older son. The angel became angry and take revenge with kill her husband. Until now they always reborn and reborn,when they reborn they killing each other even they love each other too. LOVE BECOME HATE!

But to bad the main woman character in here (name : Aya), is simply cry. I don't like if the woman character who always cry that's mean that she is WEAK. There is a man named Touya, he is Aya's lover whom handsome and cool. All the character is had many difficult thought and they try to do something to protect someone they loved, and for they wishes for long time.

Different from the comic, in the anime the story is more serious and there is just a little sense of humor. I almost forget that the man character is almost ike Keigo in "kamisama mou sukoshi dake".

THIS ANIME IS BETTER THAN FUSHIGI YUGI, which Watase Yuu created with many scene main woman character naked and she is so easy with any of man.

SUMMARY : A government trained assassin in life, A vengeful hellspawn in

corrupt who disrupt the lives of the innocent. In the meantime he faces the
tragedy of his death and the fact that he has been sent to Hell and he must
also face the reality of losing his wife to an old friend.
Spawn is a big dud. I don't read the comic but I know that it has to be better than this. The acting in this movie, even by Martin Sheen, is horrible. 
The effects are nothing you haven't seen before. The scenes showing the devil are so bad you wonder if some children were doing the effects. The only 
really good part of the movie is John Leguizamo. He is the only breath of fresh air in this film. Providing a few laughs and some much needed comic 
relief, he is the only good thing about this stinker. Bottom Line: Pass on this piece of crap unless you love Spawn. Otherwise I wouldn't bother.

movies that could have been classics.The damage has made this movie a tag below average.

"Laputa: Castle in the Sky"

Hayao Miyazaki has no equal when it comes to using hand-drawn animation as a form of storytelling, yet often he is being compared to Walt 
Disney. That is just so unfair, because it becomes apparent by watching Miyazaki's films that he is the superior artist. He really has a gift of thrilling 
both grownups and children, and Laputa is indeed one awesome ride.

But where can I begin to describe a movie so magical and breathtaking! Miyazaki's works have never cease to amaze me. Laputa is an adventure of a 
grand scale and I wonder how a film can be so packed with details and imagination. Ask yourself this question: if you are a kid dreaming of an 
adventure so grand in scope and so magical, what would it be like? The answer would be to strap yourself in some seat and watch Laputa, because it's truly a 
childhood fantasy come true. Every minute of the movie is rich and engrossing ... from the train chase to the amazing air-flying sequences... and to the 
wonderous sight of the floating castle itself. Not to mention the excellent score by Joe Hisaishi! Everything you ever possibly want from an adventure movie is 
here.

My Neighbour Toroto

Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro is a film that should be able to put a smile on any viewers face, and without a doubt, it'll take you on one of the most whimsical and fantastic journey's ever.
My Neighbor Totoro is a story that definitely something children can relate with, as i watched this with someone, they immediately paused the film and asked if this reminded me of being 4 years old again. This film really connects with people. But it's far from a quality nostalgia piece, it's well animated, beautiful, avoids cliché stereotypes (from both typical of the Anime genre and Children's Fantasy films), and is beautifully filmed (see scenes such as the girls waiting for the bus with Totoro and the scene where the magic nuts and seeds grow with the help of Totoro).
Even the English dub done by Fox isn't as bad everyone states. I've seen the Japanese version, and i'd have to say it's a mixed-bag between having Mei's voice sounds a bit too bratty for the English version, or having the Father's voice sound a bit awkward and perhaps not as caring in the Japanese version. Disney is said to be releasing a re-dub in mid-to-late 2005, so perhaps that will even out the controversy.
This film may not reach the heights of other Anime classics (mainly it's double bill with Grave of the Fireflies, or Miyazaki's other masterpieces Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away), however this will definitely be high on any film lovers list, and is definitely a high water mark of it's genre.
