Vừa rồi 1 hacker người Trung Quốc đã release bộ battle.net server cho client 1.3.2 zhTW (Taiwan)

Mình đang test và đã chơi đc ở nhà. Tác giả của bộ LAN hack này cũng thông báo rằng phiên bản tiếng Anh sẽ được phát hành trong vòng 1 tháng tới. Khi đó thì mình có thể sẽ lập 1 private battle.net sever miễn phí cho mọi người ở cùng chơi cho đỡ lag :). Hy vọng lúc có bác nào góp vốn để cộng đồng SC2 VN cùng phát triển.

The zhTW language SC2 client is not easy and friendly for foreign people to use so this doc is just to demonstrate whether StarFriend is fake. Also you can wait for the international version of our StarFriend. There is a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVOfTIQH730) made by one of the fans of StarFriend. I think it is not so important because there are some fake videos before but the username and password to login in the video do demonstrate something.



1, Only support SC2 client of zhTW 1.3.2 version.
You can get zhTW 1.0.0 version (http://www.mediafire.com/?67g6yth1g3ftpdn or http://u.115.com/file/clndzzpu) and use this (3 parts: http://www.mediafire.com/?rfcflmocuw2e4qb, http://www.mediafire.com/?20y5gdlq0jrf86i, http://www.mediafire.com/?cyyyr21nwgpdxqr or 1 part http://u.115.com/file/bh58lm7s) to upgrade to 1.3.2 directly. (Remember to disconnect the internet when 1.0.0 is in progress of installation because when installation finished it will automatically start to upgrade to latest but not 1.3.2.)
Of course you can let the auto upgrade happen and then you got the 1.3.4 version. And there is a way to rollback the version. In “\StarCraft II\Versions\” folder, delete any BaseXXXXX where XXXXX is bigger than 18092, and then the biggest is Base18092. Don’t delete ShadersXXXXX. And replace “\StarCraft II\Support\Battle.net.dll” of 1.3.2.(Here download http://www.mediafire.com/?db90kge4fnj0bqd or http://u.115.com/file/dncfdbew)
When finished, do not launch the game except you disconnect the internet to avoid the auto upgrade. Disconnect the internet and launch the game to confirm the version of 1.3.2.

2, Here (http://www.mediafire.com/?kc8zx4jc7ywy7of or http://u.115.com/file/dn4y9h9g) is the CACHE file of SC2 client of zhTW 1.3.2 version.
If you are XP users, copy it to “X:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\” and you will see folder structure of “X:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net”.
If you are Win7 users, copy it to “X:\ProgramData\” and you will see folder structure of “X:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\Battle.net”.
Maybe both folder is hidden and you can see then by configure the folder option.

3, Here (http://www.mediafire.com/?c22dpz2c7kp3qwl or http://3721up.com/lpw) is the StarFriend 0.43 Beta. Copy all the content in “StarCraft II” folder to your SC2 folder. It include client patch and server program. There is also “Leatrix Latency Fix 1.23” folder and it is recommended to use it to reduce TCP latency.

4, After you patch the client by StarFriend, the auto upgrade will not work and you can keep it in 1.3.2 version. Then we can launch the game. The text in left is our StarFriend billboard in Chinese.


5, In the content you just copied to your SC2 folder, the “MySC2Server” folder include the SERVER program. In “server.ini”, the switch of “EnableMakeRoom” and “MaxDelayInMs” will be introduced later. Launch the “MyServer_0.43.exe”. If the firewall asks you, let the “MyServer_0.43.exe” go through the firewall.

6, In the root folder of your SC2 folder, in the “config.ini”, “IP” means the IP of server, or we can say, the PC that runs the “MyServer_0.43.exe”. We first use 127.0.0.1 to make sure we patch the client correctly.

7, Then input username of “[email protected]” and press connect button. If you see the password input field, input password of “gg” and press OK button and to see whether we connected to the server of ourselves and see the character info. And then press OK to login to main window.



8, In this first windows, wait for about 5 seconds (or until the red text become white), and press “Multi Player” in the white frame in the following picture. In the second window, wait until the race is displayed since by that time the map list is ok. And press “Create Game” in the white frame in the second following picture.



9, In the following picture, the map list is ok, and there are 3 RPG maps unavailable, the two of them is in the white frame and the third is the last 10 people map. Do not choose them. I choose “The Lost Temp” map and press “Create Game” in the second following picture.



10, Here is the game lobby. The two pictures with words on it show the usage. After all is done, you can press “Start Game” and start playing. While playing game, it will be a little laggy if you talk or send small map signal to somebody. It is one of many problems in StarFriend.

Something about server config file:
The “MaxDelayInMs” switch of server means if one ‘s latency is higher than this, he will be rejected to connect.
“EnableMakeRoom” switch: At the beginning, StarFriend is designed to use in small range so one server support one ROOM. And when time goes by, it is edited to support several ROOMs. If EnableMakeRoom” switch is on(=1), the username changed and the way to use also change a little.
You can use username of [email protected] to create a ROOM and other people can go into the room by using the same username. The password is also gg.
Also you can use [email protected] to find a ROOM unclosed. Unclosed means Father has not created the game lobby. If there are no ROOM unclosed, you will be put into a new ROOM.



Q&A:
Q: Which mode did StarFriend support?
A: StarFriend support 1v1, 2v2, 2-4 vs AI in Multi Player Mode and something is Single Player Mode. But Single Player Mode has little test. And the Multi Player Mode has some limits. Assumed that Father, Mother, Safety, Health is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th player, if N players want to play together, there must be the first N players. That means Father can only play 1v1 with Mother and if 3 people want to vs AI that must be Father, Mother, Safety not the combination of Father, Mother and Health. And only Father can create game lobby. I’m sorry for this bothering limits, but these limits did reduce huge work, sorry.

Q: When I want to 1v1 in some map, Father and Mother is in the same team.
A: Yes, the function to move Mother (or anyone else) to another team is not available but you can also start the game and if there are only Father and Mother in one room and the mode is not vs AI, it will start 1v1 game mode.

Q: In the Character Info Screen of the fourth screenshot of this paper, I press login but cannot login.
A: Do not press it too fast. If this happen, you can use ESC to back to the first win and logon again.

Q: The map list cannot be displayed or not fully displayed.
A: In the first win of following content, you wait for about 5 seconds or we can say, until the red text emphasized by the white frame become white text. And in the following win, we wait for the win to become the third win. By this time, the map list ok.




Q: I want to play in Single Player Mode but the map list is not displayed.
A: My experience is that you can first make the map list of Multi Player Mode displayed. And then the map list of Single Player Mode is fast to display.

Q: In Win7, the server even can not start.
A: The server needs the right to create and write log file so it maybe caused by it.

Q: I cannot connect to the server and it shows the connecting window all the time.
A: Maybe it is caused by the firewall blocking the server and avoid person connecting from outside. You can make the firewall to pass the server or open the TCP 1119 port on your firewall. If the server is behind a router or something alike, redirect the TCP 1119 port to the server and then the people outside the router can connect the server a well.

Q: Somebody sales it on the internet. Is it free?
A: It is totally free now and if somebody asks you to pay for it, don’t trust him.

Q: When will the change of the configure file take effect?
A: The change of configure file of server will take effect after the server restart, and the same to the client.

Q: Which operating systems do you support?
A: The client support almost all the system and the server has problem on Win2003.

Q: When Father quit from a playing game and the others are playing, can Father create a game again?
A: Do not create the game when others are still playing in last game. You can create game when they finished last game or you will make them disconnected. Remember there is only one game lobby in one ROOM.

Trung Quốc làm được cơ à,hơi không muốn tin cho lắm,ít ra cũng phải xem được các thành viên GVN nhà mình chơi được đã mới tin được.

Chỉ thấy có 1 mình chủ thớt confirm thôi , sẽ thuyết phục hơn nếu chủ thớt làm 1 review có chụp hình đầy đủ + hướng dẫn A--Z vừa để tăng độ thuyết phục vừa làm tư liệu phổ biến rộng rãi cho cộng đồng SC :)
 
Mình cũng đang nghiên cứu tạo Lan cho Starcraft 2. Bước đầu là Recorld lại những action của bạn Trên Map và save vào một file ở bên ngoài. Rồi để cho máy thứ 2 đọc, nhưng vẫn tạo ra latency rất lớn, cho nên mới chỉ dùng để ghi lại chiến thuật vào bản AI của mình

Dường như bọn China đã làm được trước, theo lời bản guide thì ó chỉ support cho bản Client China. Và chỉ dành cho bản 1.3.2. Nếu bạn để tự động auto update lên 1.3.4 sẽ không chơi được. ( Cũng chưa test)

Bác test client nào và làm sao vậy? thằng bạn mình làm hoài chả đc o.O làm đc thì bác hướng dẫn dùm ae 1 bài lun đi
