Study English (được phép dùng tiếng Việt)

Cho mình hỏi trong câu "A happy family is but an earlier heaven", từ but được dùng như thế nào vậy?
 
mình có nghe nói là đôi khi luyện nghe tiếng anh ko nhất thiết phải hiểu , cái này đúng ko vậy :-s
cho hỏi luôn 2 từ : giặc đói , giặc dốt trong TA là gì vậy ạ , em tra từ điễn ko thấy có

Mọi người cho tớ hỏi xíu. Tớ cần tìm mấy từ viết tắt liên quan đến việc thuê nhà, như là B&B nghĩa là bedroom and breakfast ấy. Đã thử lên Google tìm nhưng không biết keyword là gì nên chịu ;A;

ai cho mình hỏi có phần mềm nào thi thử TOEIC mà phần short conversation và short talk có 3 câu hỏi cho mỗi đoạn nghe ko .Mình dùng TOEIC master có mỗi loại 1 câu 1 đoạn@_@
 
cho mình hỏi TOEIC để dùng cho việc gì vậy ? Mình thấy các trường nc ngoài thỉnh thoảng có ghi là chấp nhận điểm TOEIC. Nó có dễ hơn TOEFL ko?

Cho mình hỏi thêm câu "ko có gì" nói khi ng khác nói cảm ơn mình thì đọcthế nào? Mình nghe ng khác nói mà ko rõ nên quên rùi

Các tốt nhất để học speaking là nghe người ta nói rồi bắt chước.
Cái girl đọc lái thành gơ hay gơn chắc tại giờ tiếng anh cũng không còn thuần nữa, giống như tiếng việt giờ toàn bị đọc lái đi.
 
cho ̀ mình hỏi GOVT là viết tắt của môn học nào vậy? Trong giấy của mình nó ghi đầy đủ là GOVT 1 SH(P)

Ngôn ngữ nào mà chẳng có hiện tượng đồng âm khác nghĩa? Bạn đang mong muốn chuyện gì vậy? (Chữ to thì nó có form mạnh yếu, khác với 2 chữ kia 1 chút.)

To có khi đọc rất nhẹ nên dễ phân biệt hơn 2 âm kia, vả lại to thường đứng trước: động từ (have to go), đại từ (give it to me).
Too thì hay đặt cuối câu (I want it too) và trong văn nói thì chả mấy ai dùng kiểu (I, too, want it).
Two thì hiển nhiên là số lượng thì phải ở trước danh từ (I have two books).
