1) Prokhorovka: Battle of Kursk Germans vs. Soviets, Soviet Union July-August 1943. Trận Prokhorovka 12 tháng 7 năm 1943 là trận chiến xe tăng lớn nhất trong lịch sử quân sự (ko như game chỉ có xe tank, thực tế là pháo và không quân cũng góp phần quan trọng ở trận này)
2) El Hallouf: is in northern Algeria, Operation Torch, 8–16 November 1942
3) Abbey, Battle of Monte Cassino?, US/UK vs. Germans, Italy January-February 1944. Not sure on this one.
4) Murovanka is a castle in Belarus. Not sure if there was a battle there.
5) Redshire....Lorraine region of France, which had several tank battles between Patton and Von Mantueffel, mainly around Metz and Arracourt.
6) Steppes: Battle of Khalkhin Gol in 1939 between the Soviet Union and Japan. Or any of the thousand battles of the Eastern Front.
7) Mountain Pass? Could be a conglomerate of many battles. Po River, Yugoslavia, Caucasus, Austria, Romania, Hungary, etc.
8) Arctic Region: Winter War, Finland vs. Soviets 1940
9) Westfield? Looks similar to a myriad of Western Europe battlefields.
10) Sand River? Middle East? Pretty generic desert battle.
11) Erienburg: Erlenbach, which is a name of several towns, all in Germany (in the Alsace region of eastern France along the France-Germany border)
12) Komarin: is a small village in Russia.
13) Cliff": Normandy.
14) Ensk: The only historical thing I could find is that it was the Red Army's proving grounds. Kalashnikov purportedly designed his most famous weapon at Ensk. Although the rail yard sugests Ruhr Valley to me.
15) Lakeville....
16) Ruinberg: Typical Western European City.
17) Mines: Landscape and buildings suggest Southern Europe/Mediterranean local (Mines was called Pagorki in Poland)
18) Karelia: while rocky/hilly in the game, is actually a very flat, heavily forrested, very marshy area northwest of St. Petersburg and is the border region between Russia and Finland.
19) Himmelsdorf: Generic German City
20) Malinovka: English translation of Malinowka which is a village along a river & lake on the outskirts of Kharkov and was site of a battle when the Soviets were advancing west after Kursk was kaput and the Soviets had gone on the offensive, August/Sept 1943
